Dear Valued CityPets client,
It’s important to us at CityPets to keep our patients, clients, and staff healthy and happy. We want to provide an update on what we are doing to keep everyone as safe as possible while we navigate through the constantly evolving situation around COVID-19 (Coronavirus). These changes are effective Saturday, March 28th.
We ask that you reschedule your pet’s appointment if any of the following apply to you:
- You are experiencing a fever or symptoms of respiratory illness such as cough or difficulty breathing
- You have symptoms of the flu, bronchitis, or are not feeling well
- Close contact with a person confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19
As of Saturday, June 20th our office hours will be as follows:
-8:00am – 6:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
-8:00am – 1:00pm Saturday
-Closed – Tuesday and Sunday
In an effort to adhere to social distancing recommendations, we will not be allowing clients into our office except for special circumstances. We ask that clients call when they arrive for their appointment and a technician will come to your car and bring your pet into our office. We ask that you remain on site while your pet is being examined. Once we are finished with the exam we will discuss exam findings, diagnostics and treatments with you. We ask that you wear a mask when you come for your appointment. Payment is due at the time services are performed.
We are seeing patients for routine services, however the appointment will be scheduled for no more than 2 weeks before services are due. For example, if your pet is due for vaccines on June 12th, we will work with you to schedule an appointment between May 29th and June 12th. If your pet is overdue we will schedule for the earliest possible appointment. For routine appointments that were scheduled prior to our protocol change we may be calling to reschedule your appointment to be within 2 weeks of when services are due.
For food and medication pick up we will now be providing curbside service only. We ask that you call at least 2 hours ahead for prescriptions and food, and that you pay over the phone at that time. When you are at the clinic simply call the office and we will meet you outside.
Telemedicine may be available depending on the nature of your pet's problem. Please call to inquire further. Please feel free to contact us by email ([email protected]) with any questions. You can also send video and/or pictures of your pet’s symptoms via email.
We know these changes may cause some inconvenience and we greatly appreciate your understanding and help during this difficult time. We care about our patients, you, and our wonderful staff and want to keep everyone healthy and happy.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we will continue to update you with any changes.
